| "They don't make 'em like that anymore." Have you ever heard this statement while looking on with someone enjoying the fine workmanship of an old world heirloom? Welcome to JandaWorks. One hundred years ago John Janda came to America as an immigrant from Prague, Czechoslovakia. He was a master locksmith, and his brother was a blacksmith. His son became a carpenter & builder. That was James Janda, my dad. These fine men are all passed away, but their aim for excellence in craftsmanship remains alive in their descendants today. It is as precious to us as the heirlooms they created and left with us. We here at JandaWorks still cling to our family heritage with great pride.
